Just a Modest Home in the Hills

I have the great fortune (though not necessarily making a fortune) of installing solar. It's a lot of hard work, but the rewards are multifaceted. This is a VERY LARGE hot water, or thermal, installation on a "home" (if 6,000 sq feet fits your idea of a home) that will be published in a major magazine. It is near Seaside, looking Northwest, and across Monterey Bay.

If you were to adjust your gaze North and then East, you would see then next two shots.

This wood is blue to protect against termites and mold. Its a sprayed chemical that is purportedly basically borax (like the cleaner).

This is the third building and is ideal for your workshop, office and boat (yes, there is a space for you to park a boat). It is also the site of 60 solar photo voltaic modules generating A LOT of juice. 6.8 kW around 9:30 this morning under cloudy skies.
